Sherrod Moore is father to Beautiful America n Actor, Shemar Moore. The son of Sherrod. Shemar is an incredibly popular American acting and modeling. His most notable roles are Malcolm Winters on The Young and the Restless , Derek Morgan on CBS’ Criminal Minds and the main part in the character Hondo and the lead role of Hondo S.W.A.T. (2017-present). Moore was the third permanent host of the show from 2017 to present. Soul Train Between 1999 and 2003.

Sherrod Moore’s son Shemur created a company for retail named Baby Girl LLC. The profits from the business are employed to help fight the disease of multiple sclerosis that Moore’s mother battled through her illness until she passed away in the month of February of 2020.
