He was also the weathercaster for CNN’s TBS Evening News on what was at the time SuperStation WTBS. He quit CNN in 1984 to work for KABC-TV in 1984 as a meteorologist, and later became a weekend anchor. A few years later the station changed his schedule to weekday afternoons 4 5, 6 and 11 PM, along alongside David Ono, Ellen Leyva, Marc Brown, and Michelle Tuzee.
