Arleata Williams Otis Williams’ ex-wife

Arleata Williams, who is Otis’s ex-wife. Otis Williams. The ex-husband of Arleata, Otis is an American baritone vocalist. He is known as “Big Daddy”, he sometimes also works as a songwriter and record producer. He was the founding and the last remaining Original member of Motown singers Group The Temptations, a group with which still performs as well as own his rights over The Temptations name. Arleata William is the wife who was third to Williams.

Arleata along with Ottis Williams began their relationship in 1982. They were married in 1983. They separated after 1997. The couple was together for fourteen years until they decided to end their marriage. In the 14 years of Areata’s marriage to Williams the couple were blessed with a baby named a daughter. Elan Carter.

The daughter of the couple, Elean was born on the 3rd on the 3rd of July, 1969. Elean was the Playboy’s Player Of the Month in June, and the couple divorced in 1997. Arleata Williams’s child Elean is currently a model. She has been modeling across the globe including Mexico, Europe, Jamaica as well as the Bahamas.

Arleata’s husband Ottis being a music enthusiast when he was a teenager. Otis Miles, Jr. took his mother’s maiden title as his stage name and later, Otis Williams put together a variety of singing groups. The groups comprised Otis Williams and the Siberians and they were the El Domingoes, and the Distants. They were in 1959 when The Distants scored a local hit song, written by Williams as well as their producer/manager Johnnie Mae Matthews and titled “Come On”, with the lead vocals provided by Richard Street.

Prior to getting married to Arleata Williams Ottis was married to Josephine Rogers in 1961. Their daughter, Otis Lamont Miles, was born in the same year. He and Josephine separated in 1964. Otis Lamont Miles was a construction worker who was killed after falling off a structure during a work accident in Detroit in 1983.

Ottis was married with Patti LaBelle. She broke off the engagement after he demanded that she leave music and to become a homewife. Ottis got wed with Ann Cain from 1967 to 1973.
