Jack Elam has performed in at least 41 TV series. Some of his most notable roles are Once Upon a Time in the West, High Noon, Support Your Local Sheriff! as well as on the television series The Twilight Zone and Gunsmoke. He also appeared in the comedy short-lived show Easy Street as Alvin “Bully” Stevenson.

Jack Elam was inducted into the Hall of Great Western Performers of the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum.
